Looking For Penguins / Auf der Suche nach Pinguinen

We took a ferry to Penguin Island to find some penguins...

Wir haben eine Fähre nach Penguin Island, einige Pinguine zu finden...

 Lots of swallows, seagulls....no penguins
Viele der Schwalben und Möwen... keine Pinguinen

Big big pelicans! Still no penguins....
Große große Pelikane! Noch keine Pinguinen....



 There! We found one!
(Daddy blames Mummy for zooming in on the stair instead)

Dort! Wir fanden eine!

 Alright, these don't count, but they are still penguins!

They were rescued by the people at the research center here, they live here because they aren't able to survive in the wild.

Okay, diese zählen nicht, aber sie sind immer noch Pinguine!

Sie wurden von den Menschen am Forschungszentrum hier gerettet, sie leben hier, weil sie nicht in der Lage zu überleben in freier Wildbahn.

 Educational, but yes....boring.

Fremantle

 We went to Cottlesloe Beach in west Perth

 The Indian Ocean is nice and cold even when it was 39 degrees that day.

 So we went on to Fremantle, a nice little port city....

 not a bad place,

 I checked out a university....

 and fell asleep during lunch.

That was my day at Fremantle!

Vineyard

 Mummy and Daddy too me to many vineyards, here was the first one at Hamelin Bay near Margaret River.

 I was not so interested in wines.

Vineyards are not so bad if they give you a big ball to play with.

I couldn't decide what was funnier: Po Po telling me not to laugh, or my Daddy's silly faces.

 And his friend.

Mummy was the only one who got nervous.

My Family In Perth

This is my Australia Po Po.

She is my Grandpa's older sister,valso my Mummy's Big Aunty.

That is Aunty Asaka, her husband is Uncle John who is my Mummy's cousin.

On the right is Aunty Megumi, her husband is Uncle Tony, who is my Mummy's other cousin.

John and Tony are Grandpa's nephews.



 This is Aunty Janet, she is Uncle Tony and Uncle John's older sister.

And this is Uncle John, and his big sister Aunty Amy who is tossing me in the air!

Pool Parties

On Christmas, I was at Uncle Tony and Uncle Lee's birthday party (they are twins!).

Here I am at Uncle Lee's house.

They are both 40 years old!
That's a lot bigger than me!

 Brrr, the water was cold but I liked it more than Papa!

 Uncle Tony is barbecueing the Wagyu beef, mmmm....

...but nobody would let me have any meat.
